PhysicsHelp4u offers online physics information and activities that can be used as learning and teaching aids for high school and introductory college physics. PhysicsHelp4u may carry advertisements from time to time for third party products believed to be useful to high school or college physics students such as tutorial software, printed materials. 

Service Offerings 

PhysicsHelp4u provides an interface for physics tutors and students. Tutors may post a description of services and terms through an online directory.

 

Communications

Access 

Products and services are accessible through the web. 

 
File Exchange 

Users are encouraged to take advantage of publicly available free services such as MSN chat for file exchange including text, images and whiteboards (electronic tablets). These allow uploading and sharing between students and tutors where allowed by network administrators.

Voice chat 

Users are encouraged to take advantage of publicly available services such as MSN chat.

Student Self-Assessment 

Online self-correcting free quizzes allow students to assess their progress. 

Quality Assessment 

Users are encouraged to provide comments, suggestions, and assessment of products and services through our contact page.

 

User Tools

Orientation 

Users are expected only to know how to navigate with a browser. Directories and links are self explanatory.

Registration 

Requests for tutoring or estimates are accommodated directly through physics tutors.
Tutors register and prove proficiency to be listed in the directory.

Customer Support 

Technical and sales support is provided through our contact page.

Confidentiality 

PhysicsHelp4u does not share, sell, rent or otherwise divulge user information without a subpoena except to facilitate contact between students and tutors.

Users must be able to use the internet.
Third party services or products may specify particular requirements.

 

Costs, Purchases, Payments and Contracts

Costs  

Costs to students or parents vary according to the tutor and service requested. Users are solely responsible for any and all costs associated with purchasing, accessing, using or acquiring products and/or services offered, including but not limited to computer equipment and internet service.

Contracts 

Contracts between or among students, tutors, institutions, and/or third party suppliers exist independently of PhysicsHelp4u and are in no way binding upon PhysicsHelp4u.

Tutors are not employees of PhysicsHelp4u, nor are they agents of PhysicsHelp4u.
